Skype can make direct connection only when either party has port opened on the NAT router for incoming requests. If not, third-party relay is involved in handling the whole voice traffic. It makes the call less stable and less comfortable, of course.eofhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06072732479084994406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20425712.post-49968046881369127592008-07-07T10:15:00.000+02:002008-07-07T10:15:00.000+02:00Apparently, firmware upgrade 7.3.2 fixed the disk ...Apparently, firmware upgrade 7.3.2 fixed the disk access problems. I'm now able to use a USB-attached disk to AEBS just fine. Skype also started working fine some time ago (even before the firmware upgrade). The speed issue (not being able to exceed 8 Mbit/sec on 802.11g with all-Apple equipment) unfortunately still remains.Attila Szegedihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08179252447170860637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20425712.post-40934011997734777312008-06-16T08:24:00.000+02:002008-06-16T08:24:00.000+02:00Hi Justin - yes, same here. I believe we'll need to wait for AEBS firmware upgrade.Attila Szegedihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08179252447170860637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20425712.post-75245770363826079202008-06-16T05:45:00.000+02:002008-06-16T05:45:00.000+02:00I recently decided to fully convert to a MAC world...I recently decided to fully convert to a MAC world. bought a MBP, the 24" iMAC, AEB, and AppleTV

I can make the AEB Crash everytime I try to access the external 1 TB hardrive I have connected to the USB port.

No idea what the solution might beAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20425712.post-63348121881862992152008-04-15T10:12:00.000+02:002008-04-15T10:12:00.000+02:00Nah, I'll keep it. Also, long term, I hope that the situation will improve -- the issues will be fixed in firmware upgrades, and I might also over time buy some new, 802.11n capable Macs.Attila Szegedihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08179252447170860637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20425712.post-88241568014877701952008-04-14T21:10:00.000+02:002008-04-14T21:10:00.000+02:00I'll return it for you.KirkI'll return it for you.

KirkUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18065517527062806710noreply@blogger.com
